Diesel Mechanic/Welder/Fabricator
Stone Roofing Company, a commercial/industrial roofing contractor, is seeking a motivated individual to fulfill the role of Diesel Mechanic/Welder/Fabricator.
Diesel Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair issues in diesel engines
Perform preventative maintenance
Diagnose and repair issues with hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems
Perform welding or fabrication tasks on trailers and other equipment as necessary
Properly use fabrication shop hand tools. (grinders, drills, air tools, etc.)
Maintain a clean and safe workplace
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Clean DMV driving record to road test company vehicles.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Any mechanic certifications is a plus, but not required
Welding experience required
Punctual attendance.
Reliable
Physical demands for the job:
Carry/lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
Able to work outdoors
