We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team for PART TIME and help us continue to provide exceptional service. This position may grow to a FULL Time position for the right person. A knowledgeable and versatile Automotive Mechanic with a solid background in all aspects of car repairs. Engine, drive train, suspension, transmission, electrical, component testing, soldering, reading diagrams, AC repair, Tire mounting , battery testing, MUST BE ABLE TO DIAGNOSE NO GUESSWORK
You will be scheduled in advance to work a specific day to do a specific car , you may need to do more than one car at a time, at your own pace.
The ideal candidate will have the technical expertise and hands-on experience to handle everything from routine maintenance to complex diagnostics and repairs. If you are passionate about working on vehicles and delivering quality results, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive inspections & diagnostics on various vehicle makes and models using diagnostic tools and software. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
Repair and replace automotive systems including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, electrical systems, and exhaust systems. Must be familiar with OEM engine swap and trans swap.
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools. Including Module Testing
Perform system tests and evaluate vehicle performance after repairs.
Keep a clean and safe work area, Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with the service manager to ensure timely and accurate repair schedules.
Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies, repair techniques, and industry standards.
Have reliable transportation
Be on time for work , too many late occurrences with result in termination.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience as an automotive mechanic or in a similar role. ASE preffered but not required if you have 10+ years experience.
Strong knowledge of all aspects of vehicle repair, including but not limited to engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and air conditioning.
Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment efficiently.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Ability to pass a drug screening
Ability to work in a professional environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers professionally.
