The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on Porsche vehicles, ranging from vintage to current models. From routine servicing to engine out jobs, the Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship are upheld in every project.
About us: Joe Anselmo Motorsports is a premier Porsche shop currently located at 925 W. 16th Street in Newport Beach, with 3 years of independent shop service experience. Joe Anselmo is a figurehead in the Porsche parts world with over 40 years experience and a vast knowledge of racing and street car parts spanning the history of Porsche. We are looking to expand our service side as the business is growing.
Responsibilities:
● Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
● Follow manufacturer guidelines and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient repairs.
● Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems.
● Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and industry best practices.
● Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and deliver exceptional service to our customers.
● Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and expertise.
Qualifications:
● The optimum candidate has a minimum of 3+ years of Porsche specific experience.
● Proficiency in engine and transmission diagnostics.
● Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
● Quality work with attention to detail.
● Workstation must remain clean and organized.
● A positive attitude with dedication towards each job.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
● Available to work full time, and willing to work overtime when necessary.
● Must have basic computer and internet skills.
● Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
