About Us:
K&C Logistics LLC is a trucking company operating a fleet of Kenworth, Freightliner, and Volvo trucks. We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Full and Part-Time Diesel Mechanic to handle light and routine maintenance for our in-house operations.
Job Duties:
Perform oil changes and routine maintenance on company trucks and trailers
Conduct minor mechanical repairs (hoses, belts, lights, brakes, etc.)
Handle tire replacements and rotations
Perform small trailer repairs and inspections
Keep basic service records and ensure trucks are DOT compliant
Ensure shop cleanliness and organization, disposing of waste oil, old parts, and keeping tools in proper order.
Communicate clearly with dispatch and operations staff regarding vehicle status, repairs needed, and completed work.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic (fleet or trucking experience preferred)
Familiar with Kenworth, Freightliner, and Volvo systems
Must have own tools for basic repairs
Preferably holds a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
Dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently
Valid driver’s license
Schedule:
Full and Part-time – flexible hours, mainly weekday or weekend daytime as needed.
