Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and repairing low voltage systems, including communication, security, and data networks. The successful applicant will have experience with low voltage electrical systems, hand tools, and power tools, as well as a strong understanding of schematics and electrical codes. The position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and collaborate with experienced technicians.
Responsibilities
- Install, test, and repair low voltage electrical systems, including communication, security, and data networks.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete tasks.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with NEC and other relevant electrical codes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with low voltage systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on existing systems.
- Build and test new installations.
- Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and safe completion of projects.
- Use logic controllers and other advanced equipment to monitor and control low voltage systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in low voltage electrical systems, including installation, testing, and repair.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, including NEC.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and other advanced equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
-Knowledge in bending emt conduit and terminating fiber optic cabling is a HUGE plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.50 - $33.75 per hour

Schedule: Generally 6am-2:30pm Office is located in Huntington Beach but site location is in El Segundo, CA (1 block south of LAX)
