Set Production Priorities: Manage the fabrication schedule to meet production deadlines while ensuring minimal downtime.

Quality Control: Maintain strict adherence to quality standards, ensuring that all fabricated parts meet design requirements and customer expectations. Conduct regular quality checks and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Hands-On Fabrication

Direct Involvement in Fabrication: Perform hands-on metalworking tasks such as MIG/TIG welding, metal cutting, bending, grinding, and assembly to produce RV parts and components.

Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models to guide fabrication activities, ensuring precise execution of designs.

Material Selection: Oversee the selection of materials for each project, ensuring the appropriate metals are used for durability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.

Process Improvement & Innovation

Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and refine fabrication processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

Equipment Maintenance: Monitor the condition and performance of fabrication equipment (welders, presses, saws, etc.) and ensure it is maintained and calibrated for optimal performance.

Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest metalworking techniques and industry trends, proposing new technologies or processes that could improve operations.

Resource Management

Materials & Inventory: Oversee the inventory of raw materials and fabricated parts, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing material waste.

Budget Management: Assist in managing the fabrication department's budget, keeping track of labor costs, material usage, and other operational expenses.

Collaboration & Communication
