Mike Diamond Plumbing in the Los Angeles and Orange County, CA areas is looking for experienced

Plumbing Sales Specialists (PSSs) to join our successful growing team. We are proud of our more than

you are self-motivated with a desire for high earning potential, we want you on our team!

Our PSSs earn between $90,000-$150,000 (our top performers earned more than $200,000)

We prefer professionals in the Skilled Trade business model: Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Residential/in-

home sales experience. With your years of industry experience, you can provide a thorough analysis of

plumbing systems, use the right phrases, tips and techniques, to ensure your efforts in nurturing

prospects amount to sealing sales deals.

You’re friendly and helpful, you maintain contact with customers via calls and emails to establish

rapport and ensure satisfaction. You are persuasive without being pushy, and with your knack for

negotiating, you easily turn those leads into deals.

As a Plumbing Sales Specialist you play an important role in building customer relations and maximizing

our revenue stream.

Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

This PSS position has a typical schedule of Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

Additional hours may occasionally be necessary to wrap up the day’s work

Responsibilities:

Maximize our team’s sales potential by enhancing their cross-selling abilities, ensuring that we are

providing premium customer service experience and following the Mike Diamond Process.

Working with our customers in their homes and educating them about potential solutions and

proactively seeking out customer feedback that you use to improve our processes.

Coach, train, and develop technicians to increase work and sales skills.

Coordinate with our technicians to expedite the negotiation process and ensure the job is completed

as promised.

Work closely with our technicians, providing guidance and training to help them achieve set

performance goals.

Coordinate with operations manager to implement procedures to streamline our workflow and

increase productivity.

Attend weekly meetings to discuss previous weeks’ achieved results and strategize about how to

connect with potential customers, meet objectives and increase revenue.

Roleplay the call with every technician before the service call. Work with technician to establish

customer relationships.

Coach technicians throughout their calls, leading them to a successful outcome on every call and

providing 5-star customer service.

Monitor the progress of the technician during the inspection/diagnostic.

Verify and enforce technicians’ accurate utilization of required digital forms, pictures, paperwork,

and field software and discuss finding of those pictures with the technician.

Conduct post-call follow-ups for customer satisfaction and capture any lost revenue potential as

needed.

Requirements

 3+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory role with responsibility for the productivity or

development of others

 5+ years of progressive sales and/or operational experience in Plumbing.

 5+ years of technical plumbing experience

 Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

 Able to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to a changing environment.

 Ability to think both strategically and execute against day-to-day objectives.

 Demonstrated ability to relate to people at all levels and to communicate both on a technical

and non-technical basis.
