Senior Facilities – Hands-On, Multi-Skilled (Plumbing, Electrical, General Maintenance)
We’re AstroForge — a startup working on asteroid mining (yes, really). Our mission is to bring valuable resources from space back to Earth. To pull this off, we need a facilities lead who can keep our home base running smoothly while wearing many hats.
This isn’t a desk-only job. We’re looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves and handle real hands-on work in addition to managing projects. If you’ve got skills in plumbing, electrical, light construction, and general facilities upkeep — and you’re comfortable juggling all of it — you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Oversee and manage all aspects of facilities operations at our HQ
Handle repairs, maintenance, and upgrades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
Assist in construction/build-out projects from start to finish
Work directly with contractors, vendors, and internal teams
Use tools, tech, and digital systems to streamline workflows and cut down on busywork
What We’re Looking For:
At least 5 years of facilities experience (Aerospace, Automotive, Semiconductor, or other highly regulated industries a plus)
Knowledge of building codes, compliance, and safety standards
Hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, and general facilities work
Comfortable in a startup environment — quick pivots, tight deadlines, and figuring things out on the fly
Solid communication skills — both verbal and through digital platforms
Bonus Points If You Have:
Cleanroom experience
Occupational health/safety expertise
Emergency management know-how

Resourceful problem solver — if something’s broken, you’ll either fix it or figure out how fast
Comfortable wearing many hats
Tech-savvy — you use tools and systems to make life easier, not harder
