We are seeking a skilled and motivated service technician to join our team, specializing in the repair and maintenance of electric bikes.
Must have hands-on experience with both mechanical bike components and electronic systems, tire replacement, brakes, gears, controllers, etc.
This role will provide customer satisfaction through high-quality repairs, diagnostics, and service support.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a wide range of electric bikes
Perform routine maintenance, tune-ups, brake adjustments, tire changes, etc.
Document all service work performed and parts used in work orders
Provide technical support to customers, explaining issues and repairs in a clear and professional manner
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Assist in assembling new e-bikes and performing pre-delivery inspections
Requirements:
Proven experience in bike repair, preferably with electric bikes
Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems
Familiarity with e-bike diagnostic tools and software is a plus
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Technical training or certifications are a plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 100lbs and stand for extended periods
Manual dexterity to handle small parts and tools
Comfortable working around batteries and electronics safely
