Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Sheet Metal Fabrication Worker for a fast-paced shop environment in Irvine, CA. If you have 1-2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you! Candidates will receive comprehensive on-the-job training to further develop skills in sheet metal fabrication techniques and equipment operation.
Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal using tools like shears, saws, and hand tools.
Use fabrication equipment, such as press brakes or punch presses, with guidance.
Read and follow simple blueprints, work orders, or shop drawings to assemble parts.
Perform grinding, deburring, and finishing tasks to prepare metal components.
Assist with basic welding tasks (e.g., tack welding or MIG welding), if trained.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following shop safety guidelines.
Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule.
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or related shop work.
Familiarity with sheet metal tools and equipment (e.g., shears, grinders, measuring tools).
Ability to read simple technical drawings or work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.
Basic welding knowledge is a plus but not required.
