Manufacturer of metal components - 50 years in business - Seeking candidate for an entry level, general labor position who also has deburring of metal parts skills.
This candidate will be the right hand to the General Manager, and will be responsible for upkeep of machine shop, assistance in deburring metal parts, shopfloor projects/general assistance with shop organization, cleaning tasks.
The ideal candidate will also take pride in excellent attendance and willingness to work overtime, and weekends if needed.
Ability to communicate is a must and a willingness to take basic instructions.
We are looking for someone with a good attitude, loves to work and is energetic.
Requirements:
Self-starter with a good attitude and communication skills
Experience with basic shop tools
Must be organized and capable of multi-tasking team environments
Experience around heavy machinery, forklifts, and pallet jacks
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Willing to accept training, work overtime as required
Compensation:
Position is full-time, hourly with wages based on experience
