Superior Skilled Trades is looking for a Traffic Control Laborer in Irvine, CA to start ASAP!
PAY: $20.00/hr
HOURS: 40 hours per week
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM- 4:00 PM
DURATION: 4 months
PPE Required: High vis vest, hard hat, boots, long pants, sleeved shirt
Job Overview for Traffic Control Laborer:
Assist on a private park construction site. The primary responsibility is to manage traffic at the entrance of the job site, ensuring safe and efficient movement of construction trucks. You will be stationed at the gate, directing residential traffic, holding a stop sign, and ensuring trucks can enter and exit the site smoothly. Additionally, you will help keep the area clean by sweeping the road near the entrance.
Responsibilities for Traffic Control Laborer:
Will watch for traffic and keep the trucks moving in and out of the job site.
Holding a stop sign, making sure the entrance is clear.
Sweeping the road (entrance by the gate) and keeping the area clean.
Direct traffic flow around construction sites to ensure safety for workers and pedestrians.
Monitor site conditions and report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
Maintain clear communication with team members regarding traffic patterns and site operations.
Skills for Traffic Control Laborer:
Strong understanding of traffic control/previous traffic control labor experience
Excellent communication skills to effectively direct traffic and collaborate with team members.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety.
Ability to stand for long periods. Must be able to perform basic labor duties.

Must be able to pass drug screen
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must be able to pass background check
Must have PPE
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
