Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to assist with the transportation of our child to Riverside to be delivered to his father every Friday and pick up to be brought back home on Sunday (excluding the first weekend of every month). Additionally, we require assistance on Thursdays for date night sitting, where the sitter will care for our child while we are out.
Key Responsibilities:
Friday & Sunday Transportation:
Hours: You will be required to pick up and transport our child every Friday and Sunday. The pick-up time on Fridays is 4:15 p.m. and drop-off at Riverside is 5:30 p.m. On Sundays, the pick-up time is 5:30 with delivery back home by 6:15 p.m’
Distance Paid:
You will be reimbursed for mileage traveled. The mileage will be calculated from 2150 S state College Blvd to 1299 Galleria at Tyler, Riverside, CA 92503 and back, with reimbursement for 32 miles each way.
The mileage rate is $0.67 per mile. For example, the round-trip distance is 64 miles, you will receive $42.88 for that trip.
Hourly Compensation for Travel: In addition to mileage, you will be compensated for travel time at a rate of $16.00 per hour for the duration of the trip (including the drive to and from Riverside). Travel time is estimated to be about 1 hour each way.
Exclusions: There will be no transportation required on the first weekend of every month (Friday and Sunday).
Thursday Date Night Sitting:
Hours: You will be responsible for sitting with our child every Thursday from 6:00 p.m to 8:00p.m. During this time, you will care for our child at our home, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Hourly Pay: You will be paid $18 per hour for your time on Thursday evenings, based on the full duration of time spent with our child.
Toll Reimbursement: All tolls incurred during transport on Fridays, Sundays, or Thursdays will be fully reimbursed. Receipts for toll payments are required for reimbursement.
Requirements:
Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
Experience with children and a nurturing, caring demeanor.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Own reliable vehicle in good working condition, comfortable for long-distance driving.
Must be comfortable driving distances and responsible for the safe transport of our child.
Ability to commit to the schedule (Fridays, Sundays, and Thursdays).
Additional Information:
The schedule is consistent, with the only exception being the first weekend of each month (no transport or sitting required during that time).
Mileage, travel time, and toll reimbursement will be processed weekly.
The position offers the flexibility of set times on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with clear expectations for each day.
