We are an established 36-year Freight Broker Company seeking a service-minded Logistics Customer Support Dispatcher to assist as a liaison between our customers and freight carriers. The Dispatcher will secure new accounts, expedite the sharing of information and documentation between customers and carriers, and communicate with dispatchers and drivers to track the status of loads. You will negotiate contracts with carriers to optimize profits.
To ensure success in this position, you must maintain current knowledge of freight carrier services, effectively attract new customers, and provide customer retention. Top applicants are customer-oriented and can multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare clear and accurate dispatch documents.
Provide clear information to carriers and drivers to meet all customer expectations.
Dispatch truck drivers with the ability to deliver orders on time.
Update clients and teammates on drivers' ETAs when requested.
Set pick-up and delivery appointments with warehouses.
Proactively provide tracking updates to customers and warehouses.
Ability to multitask and prioritize time-sensitive duties in order of importance.
Help build and maintain customer relationships and improve customer retention with friendly, helpful, and accurate interactions.
Develop new freight opportunities with current, past, and new clientele.

Requirements: Freight Broker Dispatcher Experience is Required!
A high school diploma, associate's degree, or bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
Sales, Marketing, or Customer Service experience preferred.
Experience in the transportation industry a plus.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office.
Ability to work well under stress and communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to multitask and prioritize required.
