Cal Coast Telecom is a well-established growing company that specializes in Low Voltage Voice, Data Cabling, Audio Visual and Security Systems.
We are currently seeking a full time Warehouse Lead to join our team in Cypress, CA. The ideal candidate will be reliable and energetic and will possess 2-3 years of material handling experience. Telecom Industry experiences a plus. Be a person of integrity, customer-centric, courteous, prompt, attentive, positive, seeking continuous improvement, and have a strong value for health and safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive, check-in and unload pallets from inbound trucks/containers
- Responsible for order fulfillment: safely pull stock, load, and stage materials with complete accuracy
- Check in/out and keep track of tools and equipment
- Maintain orderly product verification system
- Handle all returned products and process paperwork of the return
- Operate a forklift
- Drive a class C box truck and deliver material goods to job sites
- Maintain adequate inventory levels
- Organize, maintain, and keep warehouse safe and clean at all times
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-year forklift experience / Certificate
- 1-year experience driving a box truck
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Prior delivery experience
- Ability to multi-task effectively and follow through on projects
- Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
REQUIREMENTS:
- Maintain an unexpired, clean class C driver’s license
- Employee must have minimum of 2 years of experience as a material handler
- Experience using technology (MS Office/Outlook/MS Teams, scanners, etc.) to complete job tasks
- High school degree or equivalent
- Strong communications skills, able to communicate in English
- Must be able to pass a 7-year background check
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift upwards of 75lbs
- Physically demanding, continual standing
