In Office Position
Builder Media, a highly-touted B2B publishing company that is the voice of the U.S. housing and infrastructure industries, is hiring an editorial assistant to join our team at our Newport Beach location.
We're looking for editorial team member eager to learn and ready to expand their skill sets. Recent grads or currently in college are invited to apply. This position is part-time and will start as a temporary position. Could turn into permanent.
Requirements:
BA (in-progress is OK) in Communications/Journalism/English/Creative Writing.
Researching and Updating our Editorial Database.
Able to research content for digital newsletters.
Able to post to social media sites.
Any previous experience working in media publication as an editor, managing contributors and content.
Solid research skills.
Must have a strong eye for detail.
Comfortable working under tight deadlines.
Technologically savvy (social media, WordPress a plus, Adobe, Microsoft Office, Google Sheets and Google Drive, etc.)
Great phone and email etiquette.
Quick learners able to think on-the-fly and outside-of-the-box.
Journalism: 1 year (Required)
Research: 1 year (Required)
Microsoft Office: 1 year (Required)
Work Location: In person. Not Remote
