Builder Media, a highly-touted B2B publishing company that is the voice of the U.S. housing and infrastructure industries, is hiring an editorial assistant to join our team at our Newport Beach location.
Our company is looking for upbeat, charismatic and outgoing individuals to join our team. We're looking for editorial team members eager to learn and ready to expand their skill sets. Recent grads or currently in college are invited to apply.
Requirements:
BA (in-progress is OK) in Communications/Journalism/English/Creative Writing
Able to research for content for digital newsletters.
Able to post to social media sites.
Any previous experience working in media publication as an editor, managing contributors and content.
Solid research including curating newsletters and writing articles.
Must have a strong eye for detail.
Comfortable working under tight deadlines
Technologically savvy (social media, WordPress, Adobe, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, etc.)
Great phone and email etiquette
Quick learners able to think on-the-fly and outside-of-the-box
