EngAGE is looking for enthusiastic teaching instructors willing to lead a group of active older adults. For this role, we welcome teaching artists in the following disciplines: fitness/wellness (yoga, tai-chi, dance, fitness, movement) arts/creativity (drawing, painting, writing, acting, singing) and learning (tech, computers, nutrition, cooking, language).
Responsibilities:
Lead weekly or biweekly sessions
Accommodate a diverse group of participants
Communicate with onsite Program Director

Help provide older adults with the following opportunities:
Boosted Brain Health – Supports memory and cognitive function
Improves Mood – Reduces stress, anxiety, and depression
Builds Community – Encourages social connection and reduces isolation

Training:
Onsite tour of community spaces prior to classes
Support:
EngAGE staff and on-site management
Commitment:
Completion of contracted class schedule.
Amount of Time:
1-hr / weekly or 2 hours biweekly / TBD
Time of Day:
Flexible scheduling
M-F /mornings - evenings open
Weekends upon request

Qualifications:
Must be comfortable teaching active older adults
Clear LiveScan screening (FBI/DOJ) prior to service
Drivers License
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience instructing and leading a group of older adults in a class setting
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Passion for health, wellness, and/or creativity
