We are currently collaborating with a reputable manufacturing company in Otay Mesa to identify a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team.Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support our client's finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end close activities.Requirements Responsibilities:
Process a high volume of vendor invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing issues.
Communicate effectively with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment-related issues.
Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounts payable processes and improve efficiency.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Proven experience working in accounts payable roles, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
