Description We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to join our team in the education sector based in Palm Desert, California. This role focuses on managing accounts payable, the receipting of donations, and the execution of journal entries. This opportunity provides short term contract employment. Responsibilities: Overseeing the full cycle of accounts payable operations Handling the receipting of donations and managing daily cash receipts Performing fund accounting tasks, specifically in a non-profit context Conducting regular reconciliations Preparing and adjusting journal entries as needed Utilizing accounting software, such as Abila MIP and Abila FR50, similar to Sage or Blackbod Demonstrating competence in accounting with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment Adapting to a team dynamic, willing to assist where necessary and thriving on organization and meeting deadlines.
