Customer Service Representative
The Barking Lot is looking for an individual to join our team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and trustworthy.
The Barking Lot is the only state of the art self-service dog wash and full-service dog grooming business in Coachella Valley. We are looking for a Customer Service Representative with at least 2 years of customer Service experience in a challenging environment. Ideal person needs to be dependable, but also gentle, loving, and enthusiastic about dogs, working directly with customers and their dogs and their use of the self-wash services. In addition, this person will be answering calls, scheduling appointments (knowledge of different dog breeds is helpful) and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the shop. This is a position that requires the ability to multitask and most important is the candidates desire to be an integral part of a small team.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Service
Communicate with the client about their wants and if matches with the pet’s needs.
Create a comfortable, safe, and stress-free environment for the pet.
Produce a pet service that results in quality over quantity.
Following safety/emergency protocols as directed.
Employee is responsible greeting all guests, answering phones and booking.
Maintenance
Ensure grooming salon is clean, sanitary, and presentable at all times following daily/weekly maintenance schedule.
In general, all team members at The Barking Lot will strive to create an environment where our clients and their dogs are not only safe and healthy, but emotionally happy and fulfilled
Additional Responsibilities
With the size of our company, our involvement with the community and our pursuit of growth there will be multiple times that we need to delegate out responsibility of special tasks. We will try to ensure that clear direction and expectations are set any time this situation arises.
