Project Estimator
We are a well-established Engineering A licensed Public Works contractor based in Palm Desert, California. If you do not meet the qualifications below do not send a resume. This is a full-time, on-site role for an Estimator. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project plans and specifications, conducting quantity takeoffs, and preparing competitive bids. The Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project success. Send a resume for consideration. Qualifications:
Proficiency in cost estimating, budgeting, and financial analysis
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations
Experience with construction estimating software and tools mandatory
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
Previous experience as an Estimator in the construction industry is a plus
Must be knowledgeable in underground piping, mechanical equipment, earthwork and concrete construction.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent related work experience.
Work Experience:
9+ years of construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar experience.
5+ years estimating experience
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, etc.), and Primavera Scheduling software.
Advanced knowledge of Estimating software.
Advanced knowledge of civil engineering principles
Advanced knowledge of construction principles
Excellent interpersonal and communication
Other:
Requires successful completion of pre-employment drug/alcohol screening, driving record verification and background check.
