We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Service professional to join our elite front of the house team this season. In this role, you will be our wine expert, guiding our guests to pair the perfect wine with their dish as well as enhancing their experience. We purchase our wine directly from the vineyards or private vendors, so being able to introduce and sell wine to our guests will be a key component in this job.
Requirements
-Master our wine list and provide expert recommendations to guests and pair wines with our cuisine- we will make sure you can do so before hiring.
-Confidently describe wines, their regions, and their profiles to educate and engage with guests.
-Please know how to Open and Pour a bottle of wine properly and elegantly.
-Proactively suggest and sell bottles, its why we are hiring you.
-Assist with inventory management, maintenance, and staff training.
-3 years minimum of Server experience, introducing and speaking to guests about our cuisine.
-Identify a new customer that may need service rather than waiting for someone else to pick up the slack.
-Impressive presentation, well-groomed and dressed, and on time.
-We are proud of our food and you must be able also to suggest our cuisine to our guest, dont be an order taker.
