We are a fast-paced, high-volume Palm Desert restaurant known for great food, consistency, and exceptional guest service. We are expanding our breakfast program and are looking for skilled cooks who can deliver quality, speed, and professionalism.
Position Summary
We are seeking reliable, experienced Breakfast Line Cooks who can work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment. The ideal candidate has strong breakfast cooking skills (eggs, griddles, omelets, pancakes, etc.), a positive attitude, and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook all breakfast menu items according to spec
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
Ensure food quality, portion consistency, and correct presentation
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with prep work, inventory, and opening/closing duties
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and FOH team
Work with urgency during high-volume service periods
Qualifications
2+ years of breakfast cooking experience required
Strong knowledge of egg cookery, griddle work, and line cooking
Ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
Understanding of food safety guidelines (ServSafe a plus)
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
Ability to maintain calm and focus during busy service rushes
