We are Azure Sky, a luxury 14-room Boutique Hotel in the heart of Palm Springs, located in the Tahquitz River Neighborhood. We are elevated yet unpretentious, offering guests an environment to getaway and be welcomed by our attentive and helpful team of associates. We are looking for an experienced housekeeper to join our growing team. A boutique hotel housekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of our beautiful property. Responsibilities go beyond just cleaning rooms and include creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests.

Job Title: Boutique Hotel Room Attendant

Job Summary: As a Boutique Hotel Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities within the boutique hotel. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing a pleasant and hygienic environment for our guests is essential for the success of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

Room Cleaning and Preparation:

Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and ensuring all amenities are replenished.

Check and report any maintenance issues or damage within guest rooms.

Arrange and restock room supplies and amenities.

Public Areas:

Clean and maintain the appearance of public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and common spaces.

Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.

Keep hallways and public areas free of debris and clutter.

Linen and Laundry:

Collect, sort, and wash linens and towels as required.

Fold and store linens in an organized manner.

Report any damaged or worn-out linens to the housekeeping supervisor.

Guest Services:

Provide friendly and efficient service to guests and address their housekeeping-related requests.

Ensure that guest privacy and security are respected during room cleaning.

Inventory Management:

Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and report when restocking is needed.

Properly use and store cleaning equipment and chemicals following safety guidelines.

Team Collaboration:

Coordinate with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Communicate effectively with the front desk and management regarding room status and any special requests.

Compliance and Safety:

Adhere to hotel policies and procedures, including safety and hygiene regulations.

Report any safety hazards or incidents to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements Qualifications:

Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.

Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Physical fitness, as the role may involve lifting and moving heavy items.

Flexibility to work during weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Preferred Skills:

Multilingual abilities can be an asset in some boutique hotels with diverse clientele.

Familiarity with boutique hotel standards and the ability to contribute to the hotel's unique atmosphere.
