Sous chef for the chef-driven modern California Workshop Kitchen. Looking for leadership qualities in a chef, able to lead the line by example, with attention to detail, and a passion for service. Modern sensibility for food is a must, this is a position which requires creative collaboration with other kitchen leadership.
Looking for a chef who is able to prioritize and direct in a fast-pace environment, as well as expedite the line. There is a focus on help with end of shift routines, checking out line cooks, overseeing prep lists for each station, making a master prep list, and assuring that all stations and the kitchen is left in an orderly fashion for the morning team.
Administrative skills managing programs related to order guides, prep lists, inventories, check lists, recipe development all a must. Professional personal presentation.
Compensation and Benefits:
$70K to $80K, plus monthly food cost incentive, plus end-of year bonus.
