Two separate caregiver positions available. One position for morning for about 3 hours per shift, 7:30 AM-10:30 AM, Monday-Friday. Second position for evening shift for about 3 hours, 8:30 PM-11:30 PM. Each paying $23 per hour.
CNA optional. We can train you.
Both positions will be helping a quadriplegic man with activities of daily living including:
MORNING:
Dressing
Urinary catheter care
Range of motion exercises
Medication set up
Transfers to wheelchair
Simple meal preparation
Also assistance with:
Light housekeeping (dishes, sweeping, and laundry)
Opening the mail and filing
Household organizing
Occasional local errands
EVENING:
Need help with evening toileting and showering routine including:
Undressing
Catheter care
Toileting
Showering
Transfers to and from wheelchair and bed
Also assistance with:
Light housekeeping (dishes, sweeping, and laundry)
If your schedule allows both positions could be covered by one person.
The job does require manual transfers. Should be reasonably strong, physically confident and in good health. No back or joint issues.
Must be fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID.
Need to own reliable transportation.
Care is for a quadriplegic man however, for the comfort and privacy of my wife we hire female caregivers.
