Job Title: Pool Equipment Repair Technician

Job Summary:
claropool is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pool Equipment Repair Technician to join our service team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of pool equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, customer-focused, and committed to upholding claropool’s mission to provide exceptional pool services.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and chlorinators.
Installation: Install new or replacement pool equipment and accessories as needed.
Maintenance & Upkeep: Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and operational efficiency.
Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues
Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and standards, including the proper handling of chemicals and electrical components.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including diagnostics, parts used, and client communications.
Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the service team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in pool equipment repair or a related field (preferred).
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in pool equipment repair is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of pool equipment systems, hydraulics, and electrical components.
Proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Licenses & Certifications:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
CPO (Certified Pool Operator) or equivalent certification (preferred).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
Comfort with working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment.
