IMMEDIATE OPENINGS IN THE CITY OF FONTANA & RIVERSIDEVOLT is NOW HIRING for Packers, Loaders/Unloadres and Rackers!Work Schedule Available:Monday - Friday plus over time, including Saturdays as needed.1st Shift: 4:00AM - 4:00PM2nd Shift: 4:00PM - 4:00AMPay Rate: $14-15 an hourPackers:Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations and sortingReport defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisorMaintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations Perform related duties as required by supervisionEnsures bundle measurements are accurateRackers:Responsible for counting, racking, prepare for finishing, inspecting quality, and packing parts to ship back to the customer.Loads aging rack with cut pieces of extruded aluminum.Assists saw operator in the set-up of the saw.Places scrap pieces in bin and keeps saw and press area.Moves and stages material as scheduled for optimum machine efficiency.Provides machine support by emptying scrap tubs and ensuring lines are cleared of finished product.Loader/Unloader:On/off-loading of the product from, tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or crates for eight or more hours, daily.The "team concept" instituted for plant facility production workers requires each worker to perform different functions on a rotating basis. Therefore, all shop functions required by supervisors are considered essential functions for the job.Regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your jobOther duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:Must pass pre-employment Background Check and Drug Test.Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing work environment.
