Animals Matter, Inc. is a manufacturer of pet products and is currently hiring for a warehouse worker.
We are looking for a customer-oriented team member who is willing to help pack and ship in the warehouse. Learning the products is key and extremely beneficial in advancement. Must Love Dogs!
Duties entail stuffing and packing dog beds and related products. Receiving foam, fiber, corrugated boxes, etc., and any and all supplies coming into the warehouse.
Counting products and materials for inventory purposes.
This job requires light lifting and requires you to be on your feet all day.
Must be committed to detail, willing to learn all the products, and, most importantly, have a positive attitude, get along, and work well with others.
This is an entry-level position, and the opportunity for rapid advancement is available for the person who is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
Responsibilities
Manage Inventory
Receive incoming inventory
Identify and assess orders that take priority
Build sustainable relationships and trust with team members through open and interactive communication.
Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
Meet personal/team shipping targets and packing quotas
Handle product while packing and stuffing, with care and attention to detail
Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
Take the extra mile to engage with team members to complete projects
Skills
Proven warehouse experience or experience as a representative
Track record of over-achieving quota
Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
High school degree
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
Full Time - Our hours are 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, and the schedule is flexible based on your part-time hours available to work.
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
