AtWork Personnel is a full-service staffing agency specializing in short-term, temp-to-hire, and long-term positions.
We are hiring a part time Front Desk associate!
Hours: 10AM - 3PM
Schedule will vary - 4 days a week
Pay: $18/hr
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Warmly greets members and guests as they enter and leave the gym.
Answers incoming calls in a professional and efficient manner.
Checks-in members and verifies membership.
Signs-up members for appropriate membership.
Addresses members' questions or directs them to the appropriate individual for better
assistance.
Rings up purchases on the point of sale system and provides accurate change.
Administrative & Housekeeping:
Keep the front desk and lobby neat and clean at all times.
Helps maintain bathrooms stocked with supplies and clean for members.
Performs opening and closing procedures for the front desk, as assigned.
Assist with inventory, as needed.
Calls past due members regarding late dues and payments.
Filing paperwork in proper folders.
Ordering supplies and retail items when asked by management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be energetic and possess a friendly, outgoing personality and positive attitude.
Minimum certifications/educational level: High school diploma or GED required.
Current CPR & AED Certification (not required but preferred).
Minimum experience: Must have prior customer service experience preferably in the health club, retail, hospitality or food service industry.
Basic computer skills and experience using Apple products such as iPad.
Physical Requirements: Can be required to stand, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
