Summary
This is an opportunity for someone interested in television production to gain real world television experience.
Production Specialists perform a variety of key technical duties for our newscasts; You will run the audio board, operate studio cameras, create full-screen graphics, edit video for news stories and even shoot news video in the field. Previous experience with video editing is helpful. We do news across every day part so you may work mornings, days, evenings or weekends.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Technical aptitude for learning television production skills, equipment and systems.
Ability to work under intense deadline pressure.
Ability to follow detailed instructions.
Willingness to work odd and varied hours.
Job Functions:
Operate television production equipment, including but not limited to: Audio mixing equipment, video switcher, computer generated graphics, Teleprompter, studio & field cameras, studio lighting systems, and broadcast intercom systems.
Produce television graphics following directions from producers
Edit on computer-based video editing equipment.
Record audio and operate audio board for live broadcasts.
Other duties as assigned by management.
