Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in glass installation, repair, and replacement for both residential and commercial properties. The Glazier will work with a variety of glass types and window systems, ensuring precise and secure installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install glass for windows, doors, and other fixtures.
- Build custom heavy glass shower door enclosures, including sliding, frameless, hinged, and Euroglide systems.
- Repair or replace broken or damaged glass.
- Install aluminum and glass storefronts.
- Apply weather seal or caulking to prevent air or water infiltration.
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Handle and store glass safely to avoid damage.
- Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety and building codes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Glazier.
- Proficiency in handling and installing various types of glass.
- Proven experience in building custom heavy glass shower door enclosures.
- Strong understanding of safety practices and building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical fitness.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
