We are a Timeshare Resort located inside a country club. This position is in the hospitality industry. Your schedule will regularly include working weekends and holidays, no exceptions. The scheduled shifts include: two days 10 am - 7 pm, the remainder days 8 am - 5 pm. Regular days off are Tuesday & Wednesday, we may change schedule according to business needs on rare occasion. You must have an active, current, valid driver license.
This is not a custodial position. Applicant must have general maintenance handyman skills. Maintenance tasks will be but not limited to: Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting appliances, installations, general knowledge and experience of plumbing, electric, painting, fans, remotes, responding to dispatch and work orders as needed. Maintaining Pool, BBQ; Common Area tasks. See details below on pool duties.
BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, clean, maintain and perform daily preventive maintenance on the outdoor swimming pools and spas plus support equipment to assure safe and sanitary conditions while on duty.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: Clean and maintain swimming pool in a safe and sanitary condition; brush and vacuum swimming pools/spas according to established procedures. Vacuuming, as needed. Skimming leaves and other foreign objects from surface and bottom of pools and spas. Brush waterline tile to remove oils and debris.
Brush down walls of pool/spa. Clean and disinfect pool deck area. Conduct chemical tests of water as needed.
Not responsible to apply chemicals, order chemicals nor supplies. Commercial vendor is responsible to maintain filters, back wash and pumps according to established procedures and will operate a variety of machines and equipment including pumps, hoses and brushes. Perform related duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Indoor and outdoor environments. Heavy lifting required. Exposure to toxic chemicals.
