Vision Roof Services, Inc. is looking for a Quality Control (QC) Manager to join our growing team. The QC Manager will ensure that all roofing projects, whether in the local desert region or out-of-town locations, are completed to the highest industry standards. This role is vital in managing coordination between the production team, material deliveries, roofing crews, and stakeholders, making sure every project is executed on schedule and within quality expectations. Reporting to the Production Director, the QC Manager plays a key role in maintaining project efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight:
Manage roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring the production schedule is followed.
Review and execute work orders provided by the production team with attention to detail.
Conduct pre-site inspections to confirm job readiness and ensure all project requirements are clear.
Material Coordination:
Coordinate with material drivers and delivery teams to ensure correct materials are delivered.
Verify that all necessary materials are onsite before the project begins.
Ensure materials are delivered accurately and on time based on project needs.
Crew Coordination:
Communicate with roofing crews to ensure they understand the project scope.
Confirm that crews are equipped with the necessary resources and materials.
Monitor progress and adherence to project timelines, addressing any delays or issues.
Onsite Inspections and Quality Assurance:
Perform pre-site inspections and monitor ongoing work to ensure compliance with Vision Roof Services' standards.
Conduct safety and quality checks to ensure all protocols are followed.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the main onsite contact for homeowners, building owners, or general contractors.
Address client questions or concerns professionally and promptly.
Provide regular updates on project status and progress to the Production Director.
Support to the Production Director:
Assist the Production Director in managing project schedules, ensuring projects stay on track.
Provide feedback on job progress, crew performance, and material management for ongoing improvement.
Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution:
Quickly resolve any issues related to materials, crew readiness, or timelines.
Communicate any work order changes to all relevant parties.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the roofing or construction industry.
Strong understanding of project management and quality control processes.
Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to effectively manage crews and communicate with clients and stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: Thorough in reviewing work orders and inspecting ongoing work.
Problem-Solving: Quick to identify and resolve project-related issues.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work onsite and conduct physical inspections of roofs.
Ability to work on ladders and rooftops, with frequent movement and lifting of up to 60 lbs.
