JOB SUMMARY
Norman’s Nursery is currently seeking a skilled and experienced mechanic to join our team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees the upkeep and repair of tractors, lifting equipment, agricultural machinery, trailers, trucks, and related assets.
Inspect, identify, and address any damage found on all equipment.
Report all repairs and inspections.
Repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools, milling and woodworking machines, lathes, welding equipment, grinders, or saws.
Test drive vehicles to ensure they are running properly.
Accurately completes repair orders and required documentation.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of machines and tools.
Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment, determine if any repairs are required.
Repairs machines and systems using the required tools.
Ability to lift and move objects of up to 30 pounds.
Must be able to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions, including hot, cold, and rainy.
