Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper located in Placentia, California. As part of our team, your role will predominantly involve managing important financial processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to our overall financial stability. Responsibilities Oversee the month-end closing process, including the prompt and precise completion of balance sheet account reconciliations and bank reconciliations. Maintain financial reporting deadlines and deliver daily ACH deposit reports. Compile monthly commission reports, ensuring delivery in a timely manner. Manage and update customer data in Chempax as required. Handle SAPR revisions, W9s, and credit applications upon request. Prepare and file various tax forms and VAT work papers for quarterly filings. Support the creation of monthly and quarterly financial statements by maintaining accurate general ledger records. Assist with diverse accounting duties, including audit support and compliance processes as needed. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary Ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP) efficiently Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is required Skilled in conducting Bank Reconciliations Strong background in Bookkeeping is mandatory High proficiency in Data Entry is expected Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required Experience in Month End Close procedures is required Capability to manage Payroll effectively is necessary Proficiency in using QuickBooks is essential Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
