Description Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely collection of payments. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle accounts receivable, including generating invoices, applying payments, and reconciling customer accounts.
Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts, initiating collections as needed.
Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate account balances.
Process daily deposits, credit card transactions, and electronic payments.
Maintain accurate records of all AR transactions and prepare related financial reports.
Collaborate with internal teams to address billing questions or issues.
Assist with month-end closing activities and AR aging reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in accounts receivable, accounting, or a related field.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUPs preferred).
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
