Responsibilities

The contractor must be able to complete all assigned tasks within timelines established in the applicable documents and / or as set forth by the PSM.

Oversee and manage day-to-day security operations leading a small team of Security professionals.

Shall be required to make documented recommendations/assessments, and develop written plans, policies, and procedures that comply with DoD, Navy, and unit level directive, instructions, regulations, and manuals as identified by the government.

Must be able to complete all assigned tasks within timelines established in the applicable documents and/or as set forth by the Program Security Manager.

Perform assigned SAP security functions and responsibilities in support of the program office. Provide SAP meeting security support including physical and personnel access security.

Provide SAP physical security support.

Support the GSSO in maintaining 100 percent accurate facility management documentation. Assist with review and maintenance of SOPs and any additional security related documentation as delegated by the GSSO.

Provide security related support for tasking's as needed by the site PM and GSSO.

The employee will be the authorized DTA for CNET and obtain CNET Trusted Agent status.

As such the employee will perform the High-to-Low assured file transfers as well as Low-to-High assured file transfers.

Perform internal security functions including storage container management, safe combination management, and administrative open and lock­up procedures.

Develop and maintain opening and closing procedures and documentation. Train program resident personnel in opening and closing procedures. Perform opening and closing functions within the facility.

Generate and maintain physical security documentation such as Fixed Facility Checklists and SF700/701/702s. Using knowledge of the DoD Lock program and information security policies, change combinations when required and maintain a combination log for all security containers and cipher locks in the Facility. Conduct physical sanitization of safes when required.

Maintain an accurate facility access roster for all resident personnel. Notify the PM/GSSO of any discrepancies with required access roster fields to include clearance status.

Manage the visitor control program in accordance with governing directives to include preparation/receipt of visit notifications, visitor identification, preparation of appropriate visitor identification (badges), and conduct escort services on an as needed basis.

Develop, coordinate and execute all identified operating procedures and procedure guides as directed by the GSSO. This includes but is not limited to the facility Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), TOP SECRET and Media control library policy, and media control plan.

Perform the duties of a Top Secret Control Officer (TSCO) or alternate, as required.

With coordination from the GSSO the employee shall conduct a thorough annual self-inspection utilizing the government provided self-inspection checklist. Annually, the employee contractor shall complete all entries on the self-inspection checklist and prepare a letter of deficiencies and findings to the GSSO with a corrective action plan.

Preparing for and assisting in facility site security inspections.

The employee will oversee/support all Document Management & Control (Information Security) activities within the space.

Qualifications

Education: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of related experience with 2+ years SAP experience directly in program security functions (PSO, PSR, PSA, GSSOs)

Certifications:

SFPC and SPSC certifications (Desired)

Experience:

2+ years SAP experience directly in program security functions (PSO, PSR, PSA, GSSOs)

Other Requirements:

Well versed on DoD SAP policy documentation, and ICDs

Experience in security functions such as facility accreditations, conducting security inspections, developing, and executing security test plans.

Skills & Technology Used:

Able to multi-task and efficient with Microsoft Office Tools
