General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.GA-ASI Sustainment Organization is looking for an Inventory Analyst to support the MQ-9B SkyGuardian Global Support Solution Sustainment team in Poway, CA. Under general direction, this position is responsible for evaluating and implementing programs, tools, policies and procedures regarding inventory management and spares analysis o meet program requirements for SGSS customers. Interacts with all levels of employees and external customers, including production planning, warehouse, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure program requirements are met on schedule and within budget. This position involves the exercise of independent judgment and discretion about matters of significance.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reviews, evaluates and approves purchase requisitions in the Maintenance Repair, and Overhaul tool to ensure program requirements are met.

Reviews program stock objectives and resolves inventory discrepancies.

Develops, updates, and maintains all spares predictive modeling tools and model input data element

Executes and analyzes spares predictive modeling results.

Performs predictive modeling, analyzes results, and sets stock levels.

Analyzes spares usage data and adjusts inventory stock levels.

Creates and manages internal sales orders.

Conducts a thorough review of the Bill of Materials (BOM), engineering drawings, and other sourced data for the system to develop, update, and maintain the spares modeling required for the system.

Develops a list of recommended spares candidates.

Assists in the development of program required documents that supports current and future MQ-9B customers.

Act as the Liaison for material management activities and may lead program review sessions with cross functional teams or external customers.

Analyzes and maintains sufficient inventory levels to meet program requirements.

Hi-time and repair requirements, while maintaining inventory level in accordance with management guidelines.

Reviews and analyzes inventory issues and safety stock requirements.

Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in business administration or related field. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.

Knowledge of GA-ASI manufacturing, procurement, and forecast memo process.

Must have a thorough understanding of OPUS Suite or other Spares Modeling Software.

Must possess the ability to contribute to the development of new processes and resolve non-routine technical matters.

Must possess a general understanding of inventory planning and control standards, practices, concepts, and principles, along with a general knowledge of computer based manufacturing systems and MRP.

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to interface with all levels of internal employees and external customers and to accurately document and report information.

Must be customer focused and possess:

The ability to initiate, plan, and manage projects.

The ability to work both independently and lead in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
