Job Details
Mechanical Engineer The ideal candidate for our Mechanical Engineer position has 2+ years' experience. The candidate must be proficient in SolidWorks and comfortable in PDM. Their main responsibility will be mechanical engineering and will be working directly with the production team. They will be responsible for both learning existing processes for the purposes of documentation and for teaching processes when we introduce new products. Experience:
2+ years Mechanical Engineering experience
Required:
Strong command of 3D modeling software
Strong command of design for manufacturability
Comfortable designing both parts and assemblies
Proficient in Solidworks
Proficient in PDM
Preferred:
Strong command of SolidWorks
Familiarity with SolidWorks thermal simulation
Familiarity with SolidWorks PDM
Familiarity with designing for airborne applications
familiarity with RF/microwave data links in general and UAVs in particular
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
