The role involves playing a key role in the monthly close process, maintaining financial records, and providing support to both accounts payable and receivable teams. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced environment within the industry and contribute to the continuous improvement of procedures, processes, and internal control documentation.Responsibilities: Carry out month end close in line with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), including account reconciliations and journal entries Offer support to the accounts payable team as needed, ensuring the accurate coding and timely processing of accounts payable, credit card charges, and employee expense reports Assist the accounts receivable team when necessary, ensuring accurate and timely billing and cash application Ensure adherence to all applicable GAAP pronouncements Provide support for annual audits by preparing supporting schedules and assisting with audit requests Contribute to the development, rollout, and continuous improvement of procedures, processes, and internal control documentation Assist with the accounting aspect of integrating newly acquired firms Undertake ad hoc projects as requestedRequirements Position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role Must have a strong understanding of General Ledger operations Experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements is essential Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required CPA certification is a plus Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically Aptitude for understanding and interpreting financial data Must possess a high level of integrity and dependabilityRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
