Description We are seeking a Purchasing Clerk in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing purchasing tasks, including requisition entries, invoice processing, vendor data updates, and maintenance scheduling. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately inputting purchase orders and contracts requisitions Handling the process of reconciling and coding receipts for various vendors including Amazon and Home Depot Taking charge of invoice entry tasks for efficient record-keeping Managing the addition of new vendors into the system and updating existing vendor information as required Taking responsibility for scheduling maintenance services and ordering supplies for office equipment such as copiers and coffee machines Utilizing accounting software systems effectively for various accounting functions Leveraging ERP solutions, specifically Epicor, for efficient enterprise resource planning Adhering to budget processes and buying processes as per the organization's guidelines Proficiently using Great Plains (GPAC) and About Time software Managing accounts payable (AP) with accuracy and efficiency. Requirements Proficient in Accounting Software Systems. Extensive knowledge and experience with Epicor software. Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning. Familiar with ERP Solutions and their applications. Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) software. Familiarity with About Time software. Ability to perform Accounting Functions accurately and efficiently. Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes. Knowledge of Budget Processes and their implementation. Familiarity with Buying Processes and their execution.
