Part time (that can work into full time) shifts available. (3pm to 11pm) and (11pm to 7 am). Fill-in also available.

BY THE RIVER ASSISTED LIVING is a brand new, beautiful, non-medical, 6 Bed assisted living facility in Red Bluff, prominently located along the Sacramento River. We are seeking to add to our team of quality, long term care providers.
At By the River Assisted Living, you must have a desire to bring love, compassion, and outstanding care to our residents living in the facility. We will be encouraging a positive and fun work environment. Your input will matter.
Key Responsibilities:
Build meaningful relationships with our seniors and their families.
Observe any changes in residents physical or mental status, and reports to administrator, and
recommends any adjustments in care.
Supervise or assist with resident activities.
Personal Care: toiletry, feeding, bathing, transfer assistance, dressing, personal and dental
hygiene.
Housekeeping and cooking.
Medication assistance.
Assure the cleanliness and dignity of each resident and their living space.
Positive attitude and flexibility are keys to success.
Position Requirements:
Must have compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
Ability to demonstrate good judgement, problem solving, and decision making skills.
Must be willing to work independently, but also in a team environment.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and general public.
Must be at least (18) years of age.
Have a High School diploma or a GED.
Must be eligible to work in the US.
Reliable transportation.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and/or bend for numerous or long periods of time.
Good physical health, verified by a health screening.
Negative TB test
CPR/First Aid and all required trainings will be provided.
Previous experience working with elderly is preferred, but we will train the right person!
