IMMEDIATE NEED We are looking for a Registered Nurse to come work for BrightStar Care of Redding, a local Home Health Agency that believes in serving with passion and doing the right thing. NO OASIS:) This position is part time 3 days per week. Flexible on workdays. The successful registered nurse candidate will be responsible for conducting patient admissions and reassessment visits in patients' place of residence. ( LTS experience preferred, IV and infusion is a plus) The possibility of other visits i.e. wound care, medication box refills. Responsibilities
A wide variety of duties. (Patient admissions and reassessment visits in patients' place of residence. The possibility of other visits i.e. wound care, medication box refills.) Assessments, Recertification's, Creating personalized plans of care. ( LTS experience preferred, IV and infusion is a plus)
Perform care as defined by client’s individual Plan of Care and within scope of state’s nurse practice act. Proficient in Electronic Charting and documentation.
Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes.
Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill.
Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs
Requirements
Current unrestricted California RN license.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program.
Minimum 1 years' experience as a Registered Nurse (prefer Home Health Experience)
Proficient in Electronic Charting and documentation.
Have negative TB result within the last year.
Reliable transportation, current Drivers license and auto insurance
Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
