Respiratory Therapist Part Time
NorCal Respiratory Inc. is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist to work in a local progressive care, skilled nursing and assisted living facility. Minimum of 10 hours per week, with competitive salary and flexible hours.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Perform care consistent with the scope of licensure and generally accepted respiratory therapy practices and in accordance with the facilitys policies and procedures.
Provide respiratory therapy services pursuant to a consultation prescribed by the facilitys resident physician.
Provide an initial assessment on each new resident, which includes nature and extent of impairment, develop a treatment plan consistent with those findings, and be responsible for communicating the treatment plan to the resident physician.
Complete reports, assessments, evaluations, and progress notes.
Participate in staff meetings or inter-disciplinary team meetings when necessary.
Attributes of the Successful Candidate are:
Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the state of California.
Ability to deal pleasantly, patiently and effectively with others, including geriatric patients.
Superior organizational and personal time management skills.
Computer skills and experience.
Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities and priorities.
Detail oriented.
Enthusiastic about learning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bi-lingual is a plus.
