We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Buncher Operator to join our team. As a Buncher Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment and machinery to perform various forest management operations- mastication and grappling (Based out of McArthur or Redding, CA)
Requirements:
Previous experience operating heavy equipment is required.
Mechanical knowledge and skills are preferred.
Reliability is essential.
Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively is a must since you will be driving a company pickup or riding in one with others.
Owning a travel trailer is preferred but not necessary.
Responsibilities:
Operate Feller Buncher
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Follow safety guidelines and protocols while on the job site.
Work collaboratively with other team members to complete assigned tasks.
Ensure that all work is completed on time and to a high standard of quality.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Communicate effectively with the supervisor or other team members to ensure the success of the project.
Work may require out-of-town travel, and owning a trailer is preferred. However, if you don't have a trailer, we can provide hotel accommodations, and we compensate those who bring their trailers.
Pay:
Pay is $25-30+ per hour depending on experience.
