This position is Monday thru Friday at least 4 - 5 hours per day, can be full time for the right person.
Do you like working hard, having fun and being outdoors with animals?
Duties can vary day to day and may include but not limited to:
Feeding wild horses and burros.
Building repair & maintenance
Fence building & repairing.
Digging holes/landscaping.
Fixing/expanding irrigation.
Raking/weeding/mowing.
Washing and maintaining of equipment/decks/shop/trash pick-up and removal.
Firewood collection and clearing of brush.
Operating heavy equipment: Backhoe, bulldozer and hay squeeze
Other general ranch and farm duties.
Additional description/information:
May be working individually or with groups of people depending on the day and project.
Physical Requirements:
-Able to lift 75 -100 lbs.
-Not afraid of heights.
-Repetitive kneeling, lifting, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling.
-Exposure to noise, heat, cold, muddy, wet, and dirty conditions.
To be considered applicants must:
Have reliable transportation and a valid California Drivers License
Be ready to start work at 8:00 am.
Work well with others.
Be able to follow instructions, give and receive feedback.
