Please telephone 415-847-0014- we are hiring in Redding CA a reliable, experienced Horse Caregiver for mornings plus some fill in and vacation help. The ideal candidate lives nearby to Churn Creek Bottom and has solid experience:
Feeding, grooming including flushing eyes, and cleaning stalls/pens after 3-4 horses.
Checking the horses' overall condition to ensure they are healthy and comfortable.
Monitoring and clean water supply and daily feeding, gauging food by weight, not by flakes.
Recognizing when the horses are feeling good or unwell and responding appropriately.
Properly haltering and applying fly masks, blanketsas necessary
Current, hands-on experience with horse care is absolutely essential. I cannot stress this enough—your skills must be sharp, up-to-date, and second nature to you. We are looking for someone who is always punctual, responsible, and reliable.
