Maintenance Coordinator

We are hiring for a Maintenance Coordinator in our Environmental Services Department. Oakdale Heights is a 60 bed apartment style Assisted Living facility on manicured property that need to be maintained. This is a full-time position that will include vacation and sick time along with optional medical benefits.

Our Maintenance Coordinator position is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable environment for the residents. Candidate must have compassion and a caring demeanor to communicate with our residents and staff on a daily bases. Candidate is responsible in assisting with the day to day maintenance needs of the facility; from basic handy man jobs that include but not limited to: room remodels, telecommunication equipment fixes, to basic cosmetic fixes and updates.

The Maintenance Coordinator reports to our Environmental Services Director for daily job duties and priorities in keeping our facility running smoothly and meeting the residents needs. Candidate must be a good team player and a good multi-tasker. This is a quick paced job that requires a lot of walking and physical labor, so candidate will need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

We are a license RCFE which requires all employees to clear a FBI/DOJ Background clearance as well as a Physical and Drug Screen with TB Test, which is paid for by Oakdale Heights.
